Monash prepares for the future

They believe that when students succeed, countries prosper and societies benefit.

Monash South Africa held their fourth open day recently.

The university, which boasts being the best in the country, currently hosts 4 000 students in four streams.

The day saw keen candidates walking in the campus to inquire about their future. Along with their parents they asked questions from “Does the university offer bursaries?” to “Is it possible for me to become an exchange student?”

“I see a much bigger Monash in five years,” says academic president of Monash South Africa, Professor Alwyn Louw. He adds, “We always make sure we create knowledge and not learn knowledge”.

Monash is in partnership with Laurette, an international community of universities that encourages learning without boundaries.

Their purpose is to offer higher education with a unique multicultural perspective and to prepare students for exciting careers and lifelong achievement.

They believe when students succeed, countries prosper and societies benefit.
