Despite the miserable weather a sufficient number of residents attended the Ward 85 annual general meeting on Saturday 11 October to elect a new ward committee.
The committee for the coming year will be Phillip Maapola (chairperson), Sydwell Mauandane (deputy chairperson), Joel Bans (junior chairperson), Sarah Gontse (secretary), Patric Sigwela (organisation), Winnie Maapola (membership), Mulalo Nemurangoni (fundraising), Elvis Supang (finance) and Louisa Kekae (Dawn).
Ward 85 DA councillor Carl Mann says he is pleased with the outcome of the meeting.
