Maragon Avianto welcomed more than 200 visitors at their new school.

Maragon Avianto held their first official open day on 7 September. The day was filled with great expectations and no one was left disappointed.

Maragon Avianto welcomed more than 200 people at the their new school and all agreed that the school will be in a class of its own.

Children explored the Grade 0 classroom that was set up by Lynda Eagle and when it was time to leave, tears started rolling. It did not sound fair to them that they need to wait until next year for this journey to continue.

The curriculum or framework on which Maragon Avianto is incredibly sensitive to the needs of the children, their families, the community and educators in general. Maragon Avianto strives to build a learning environment that empowers individuals, that encourages exploration and discovery, and promotes a love of learning that will last a lifetime.

By adopting an emergent curriculum they believe they can ensure that the content remains relevant, creative and dynamic. Further, an emergent curriculum provides them with the opportunity to celebrate the uniqueness and diversity of all those who pass through their doors. They strive to ensure that while each child will be well prepared for the challenges that lie ahead, they will have had such a positive experience that they will be reluctant to leave and that their love of learning will be well entrenched.
