Members, rival clubs and friends and family gathered at the Witpoortjie Bowling Club on 31 August for a good cause.
Alongside Cansa and with the help of various sponsors, the club organised a fun day. For a R100 entrance fee bowlers received a meal, snacks and stood the chance of winning one of many prizes. The mood was jovial as competitors joked and bickered on the lawn while spectators sat in the shade, enjoying a cold beverage or two.
All the proceeds of the day were donated to Cansa.
