A trailer suspected to have come from North West plunged into Pro West car dealership on Ontdekkers Road in Florida on Sunday morning.
The driver of the trailer is said to have been drinking heavily at a tavern further down the road before he took to the road. The trailer shoved through a robot, palisade fencing of the dealership and into three motionless cars on sale.
Fidelity Bank security guard Sabata Petrus Nyaile says, “As I was patrolling the area last night, I passed the trailer parked outside Die Rockers tavern. Just after 6am I came across the accident and I called the ambulance, police and fire brigade.”
“When the police arrived, the driver of the trailer was asleep with a beer bottle in his hand,” says Nyaile.
The driver, who was alone, sustained minor injuries and was arrested by the Forida Police.
