Silverstar boasts brand new design
The grand opening of a refreshed Silverstar Casino and entertainment complex is scheduled for September.
Silverstar Casino is nearing its September reopening after they have revamped their interior space to generate a soothing atmosphere.
According to marketing manager Sanele Ntombela the entire gaming floor and internal complex are being refreshed aesthetically to complement and accompany the theme of their further, outdoors development.
“Taking its design cue directly from the scenic foothills of Roodekrans Ridge that surrounds Silverstar Casino, the development is all about celebrating the great outdoors,” Ntombela says.
“The overall theme driving our development will bring Silverstar into the open air and merge the inside with the outside entertainment areas,” says Shane Collinson, director of operations and general complex manager at Silverstar.
“The design has been inspired by nature, creating a contemporary design with warm, earthy tones and natural materials to generate a soothing and sophisticated atmosphere.”
Elements that are being spruced up include the chandeliers that will be lowered to create a more defined and dramatic entrance, as well as the replacement of the flowery carpet designs with a geometric marble insert that is both practical and accentuates existing marble colours.
A neutral palette is being used for the existing walls and ceilings and the stenciled flowers on the walls will be painted over to create a tranquil ambiance.
Residents can also look forward to Silverstar receiving a brand-new cinema complex with six cinemas boasting the latest 3D screens. The cinema zone will include a snack emporium.
Silverstar remains open for business while the development is being completed.
