Officer passes away after long illness

It is with great sadness that the record and the community take note of the passing of Warrant Officer Paul Robert Fern of Florida Police Station.

Fern, 45, passed away on Saturday 5 July after a long illness.

A memorial service was conducted by Father Ignatius Fidgeon on 11 July at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Krugersdorp and Fern was laid to rest at the Sterkfontein Cemetery.
