An accident between two cars took place at the corner of Generaal Pienaar Avenue and Ham Street yesterday at approximately 2.15pm.
An elderly couple were travelling down Ham Street in the direction of Trezona Avenue when they allegedly misjudged the speed of another vehicle travelling on Generaal Pienaar Avenue in the direction of the Pick and Pay Centre.
No one was injured although the couple clearly were shocked.
Residents have been asking for a while that a four-way stop street be implemented at this dangerous intersection.
