Ruimsig collision leaves young woman dead

A woman (26) had lost her life following a collision in Ruimsig this morning.

“Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on Van Dalen Road in Ruimsig, Roodepoort,” said Netcare 911 spokesperson Santi Steinmann.

Upon their arrival they found that a woman, aged 26, had tragically lost her life after her scooter collided with a light delivery vehicle.

“Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation,” Steinmann said.
