Rea Vaya buses on strike

The Rea Vaya bus drives started their strike on monday

Rea Vaya bus drivers officially started their strike on Monday 31 March at 8am.

Spokesperson Obed Sibabsa stated that drivers would work from 5am to 8am and then go on strike, “until further notice”.

There have been reports that some buses failed to pitch up, in spite of the agreement to work until 8am Monday. Passengers are advised to look for alternative transport.
