Celebrate St Patrick’s Day at Silverstar
St Patrick's Day festivities have never been so glorious as with Silverstar Casino this March.
With Silverstar Casino celebrating its sixth birthday this year and expanding and upgrading the premises, St Patrick’s Day celebrations over the coming weekend (Friday 14 to Monday 17 March) is something to look forward to.
As Amanda Adam from Atmosphere Communications on behalf of Silverstar Casino tells it, they have Irish-style celebrations that can’t be missed.
“Enjoy fantastic live entertainment and look out for leprechaun buskers.”
Adam told the Record that an interactive social media ‘game’ will make yet another resident a winner over the weekend. Residents are invited to find the leprechauns in Silverstar Casino and take a selfie with them, which is then to be uploaded on facebook, where residents also are to like Silverstar’s facebook page for the chance to win a one-night stay for two people at the Gold Reef City Theme Park Hotel. The prize will include breakfast and entrance to the theme park.
Drinks over the weekend are to be tailored especially to St Patrick’s Day and will be available on the gaming floor only while stocks last. Prices range between R10 for green beer, R20 for the Leprechaun Tears cocktail and R60 for the Green Dog & Paddy’s Green Mojito Slush. Even the restaurants Black Cherry and Billy G are in on the fun by tailoring unique St Patrick’s Day cuisine for the entire month of March.
