Entries open for FNB Platinum Trail Run
Participants can choose between a 24km, 12km or 8km routes.
Entries are officially open for the second annual FNB Platinum Trail Run presented by Isuzu.
Taking place at ATKV Buffelspoort in the North West Province on Sunday 25 May, participants can choose between a 24km, 12km or 8km route.
According to Nicola Collins, Event Manager, the exclusivity and terrain of the Platinum Trail Run are what define this event.
“Many of the routes are run on private property that is only accessible on race day. This gives runners the opportunity to experience some of the best unspoilt areas of the Magaliesberg. Runners can expect true trail running routes with plenty single tracks, rocky sections, steep down-hills and more easy running Jeep track.
“The trails are varied and challenging, while offering runners spectacular views of the Buffelspoort Valley,” continues Collins.
“Runners can look forward to an awesome goody bag, a moisture management T-shirt, a pristine running environment and a festive race village at the finish area.”
Starting times:
• 24km – 9.15am
• 12km – 9.30am
• 8km – 9.30am
