Church hosts Christmas market

Enjoy a different way of doing Christmas shopping.

The Horison Methodist Church has an alternative to the hullabaloo of Christmas shopping in a busy shopping center – their own Christmas market.

On Saturday 30 November the church will be hosting a craft, jumble and food market. It offers the best of local cuisine for foodies and art for hobbyists.

“Please come along to do your Christmas shopping with us while supporting local trade,” says an ebullient Gladys Bell, the church secretary.

Bell says that hobbyists and artists are welcome also to showcase their work or interests at the market. Stalls can be reserved at R100 for the day.

The market starts at 10am at the corner of Schultz and Cutten Streets in Horison.
