Another kwaito star in trouble with law
Kwaito star appears in Roodepoort Magistrates' Court after allegations of raping teenager.
Award-winning kwaito artist Sipho Ndlovu aka Brickz (32) was arrested by the SAPS on 1 November.
The arrest follows an incident that took place in March when he allegedly raped a 16-year-old teenager at an apartment in Honeydew. She only opened a case two weeks ago, according to National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson Phindi Louw.
With his appearance in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court the star seemed emotional but his lawyer believes that Ndlovu has a strong case.
The artist is being held in the Krugersdorp prison.
