The Record has confirmed the rumours doing the rounds that a hailstorm will hit Roodepoort on the afternoon of 31 October.
Forecaster Jan Vermeulen of the South African Weather Services said that they detected a major hailstorm that will hit Krugersdorp and most likely affect Roodepoort as well. The storm warning comes with a caution of damaging winds.
The public is asked to take care on the roads and preferably park their vehicles somewhere safe.
