Young guns want to save Metrobus
Two Roodepoort students might have solution to Metrobus' problems.
Two young students at University of Johannesburg (UJ) wants to engage with Metrobus to help add value to the service.
Marcus Tshimomo (21), studying a Bcom Accountancy degree, and Tshepo Mgxaji (22) studying Bcom finance are born and bred Roodepoorters who have both on occasions been Metrobus customers.
After reading the recent article in the Record about the challenges faced by the Metrobus entity, the two men pooled their mental resources and now believe they have the solution.
Due to issues surrounding ‘intellectual property’ and copyright they cannot divulge just too much yet but should Metrobus take the two young men aboard, residents can prepare themselves for high-tech and hassle-free commuting which will truly make the service a world class one.
The Record has approached acting Managing Director of Metrobus, Lawrence Maqekoane, to enquire whether he will be willing to engage with the two whiz kids and is awaiting his reply.

Excellent initiative by these to young guys, we need more young South Africans that want to be part of the solution – I would advise MetroBus to listen to the advise of these two guys – well done lads
