The taxi war reached boiling point on Tuesday morning when the first shooting occurred.
On the same day, union members got hot under the collar and took to the streets. Of course, they simply cannot behave themselves.
One group of union members tried to attack my journalist for taking photographs in public (you are exposing your barbaric behaviour to a man with a camera, idiots). Luckily he escaped without injuries. Maybe I should go through those photographs and memorise your faces and when you get back to work and approach me asking whether you could fill up my tank, I could smack you with a knobkerrie for asking such a moronic question.
Funny thing is that while the taxi war was getting heated (in public) on Monday, JMPD and SAPS vehicles could be seen passing the scene where taxi drivers pulled over rival taxis and forced passengers onto their taxis. Were the officers too scared to stop?
Is Joburg secretly run by mobs that control the municipality and law-enforcement authorities?
