Dobsonville Roodepoort Leratong Johannesburg Taxi Asociation (Dorljota) spokesperson Zeblon Simelane has confirmed to the Record that the driver was a Dorljota member.
Responding to a question by the Record as to whether Simelane suspected rival taxi association, Greater Krugersdorp Taxi Association (GKTA) to be behind the killing, he said that they could or could not be, but that he did not want to speculate.
