Employees forced to urinate in buckets

Case reportedly with CCMA.

The Daily Sun newspaper reported on 23 August that an employee of Superspar Florida Junction has accused a person in a management position of forcing employees to use buckets instead of toilets to relieve themselves. This is only one of the allegations brought against the person.

Male and female employees allegedly are forced to urinate in a bucket while the accused looks on. Allegedly the staff toilets are locked at all times, female employees are sexually assaulted and employees are called names ranging from racist to sexually demeaning.

The employee had opened a case at the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA).

The accused could not be reached for comment. For the full Daily Sun article click here.
