CPKS cricket teams make it 3-out-of-3 in recent clashes
School proud of u.8, u.10 and u.11-sides.
Three cricket teams from Constantia Kloof Primary School (CPKS) got the better of their opponents in the respective age groups in recent clashes.
What was described as an exciting game, the u.11 CKPS team beat long-time rivals Weltevreden Park Primary (Welties) by 14 runs. CKPS’s u.10 followed in their footsteps by also beating Welties by a convincing 42 runs.
The CPKS u.8 A Mini Cricket-side then made it three out of three for the Roodepoort-based school with a victory over Dr Havinga. CKPS scored 44 runs and took 3 wickets while Dr Havenga managed to score 17 runs and take 2 wickets only.
All eyes will soon be on CPKS’s first team who will at the end of August compete in the Central West Primary School Night Series taking place at Laerskool Helderkruin.
