The weekend of 26 July to 28 July saw Roodepoort SAPS up their game.
Over a two-day period (26 and 27 July) SAPS Roodepoort held a total of five roadblocks in crime hotspots, being areas such as Witpoortjie, Horison and Roodekrans. A total of 84 cars and 181 persons were searched.
Furthermore six drug-related arrests, five illegal-liquor arrests, and an arrest relating to an armed robbery were made.
A large amount of counterfeit DVDs were confiscated.
