Man (30) critical after being run over by two cars

A 30-year-old man is in a critical condition in hospital after he was run over by two vehicles on Main Reef Road in Manufacta on Tuesday afternoon 23 July.

According to Netcare 911 spokesperson Santi Steinmann, “Netcare 911 paramedics were quick to respond to a pedestrian accident on Main Reef Road.

“Upon their arrival on scene they found that a 30-year-old man sustained critical injuries after he was knocked over by two vehicles.

“The critically injured man was rushed to a nearby hospital for the urgent medical care that he required.

“Exact details to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.

“The man is lucky to be alive,” Steinman added.
