Emergency water outage to affect Florida residents today

Johannesburg Water sent out a notice to inform residents of an emergency shutdown on Tuesday, 19 May from 9am to 3pm.

The reason for the shutdown is to fix a burst on 375mm of pipe.

These repairs will leave residents in several areas without water, and the suburbs that will be affected include:

• Whiteridge Ext 1-4
• Delarey
• Delarey Ext 1
• Florida North tower
• Maraisburg Ext
• Florida Ext 3
• Florida Glen Ext 5-9
• Florida View
• Florida Hills
