City sanitizes taxi ranks

In addition to ensuring services are rendered to the public, extra precautions have also been provided to minimize the threat of the pandemic.

Aligning with the protocol, the taxi association in Roodepoort has been playing its part to ensure compliance and minimize the effect of Covid-19.
The DORLJOTA spokesperson, Itumeleng Chambata indicated that the association was complying with the load restriction of seven passengers per taxi, and in addition sanitizing the taxis and hands of commuters before boarding a taxi every morning.
