City Power currently attending to several outages around Roodepoort

City Power announced that they experienced a circuit breaker failure at Roodetown substation at around 11am today, 5 April.

This resulted in an outage affecting the following areas:

* Manufacta
* Tecnikon
* Roodepoort West
* Davidsonville
* Wilfordon
* Matholeville
* Lindhaven
* Reefhaven
* Westgate
* Princess
* Groblerspark
* Witpoortjie

The team is currently on site isolating to ensure the substation is safe for repairs.

Should everything go according to plan, City Power expects power to be restored by late Sunday evening or early Monday morning.
