Ward 71 councillor René Benjamin speaks to residents not complying with lockdown regulations

The Ward 71 councillor, René Benjamin has repeated the desperate plea for all residents to abide by the lockdown restrictions.

Unfortunately, it has become clear that while most community members are respecting the regulations, numerous don’t seem to understand its severity and how necessary it is to curb the spread of the virus.

René started off her video message by saying thank you to residents who have been abiding by the regulations, but went on to urge those who are not to please stay at home, concluding with the statement, “We are our best defence”.
