Thank you for publishing my letter on 28 February 2020 (page 4) regarding the lack of compliance relative to speed cameras on JG Strijdom Road, between Cornelius and Amarant Streets.
Someone in authority must have read my letter as a brand new speed-restriction sign with a camera warning has been erected. I wonder if this new sign covers all the fines issued prior to it being put up?
Compliance is a two-way street – we as road users must obey the law, but in the same way JMPD should ensure they obey the requirements pertaining to compliance when erecting camera speed traps.
