Parkrunners enjoys another run for fun
Ninety runners also achieved a personal best time in the 5km parkrun.
Yet another perfect parkrun was enjoyed by 698 runners on Saturday, 7 March at the Len Rutter Park in Florida.
Thuso Motsaapheko was the first runner to cross the finish line in a time of 18 minutes and 26 seconds. The first female runner to cross the line, Tiyani Fourie finished the 5km run with a new personal best time of 23 minutes and 34 seconds.
Some runners raised their arms in victory after reaching a new milestone. Ursula Broodryk with a time of 33 minutes and 43 seconds, Alvira Marx with a time of 45 minutes and 31 seconds, and Frank Wylde with a time of 52 minutes and 14 seconds each completed their 50th parkrun.
Carina Wilson’s huge achievement was to complete her 250th parkrun in a time of one hour, one minute and six seconds.
Ninety runners also achieved a personal best time in the 5km parkrun.
