Roodepoort Athletics Club hosts fun filled flower run
The Roodepoort Athletics Club invites the community to join them to participate in the fun activities and Saturday mornings runs.
While most of us prefer to sleep in on a Saturday, an energetic, friendly and adventurous group of runners are out on the road filling their lungs with the fresh morning air.
The members of the Roodepoort Athletics Club (RAC) make running look so easy, who would not be interested in joining them moments?

On Saturday, 15 February members of RAC, community members, and neighbouring running clubs participated in the 6am Flower Run. Runners could choose between a 5km, 10km, 15km, 20km and 25km distance, with the fitter runners opting for the 30km run. The route was mapped out to complete a full 30km distance in the form of a flower. After every 5km completed, runners were back at the club house for a quick water break.
The RAC invites the community to join them to participate in the fun activities and Saturday mornings runs at their clubhouse at the Ampie Barnard Tennis Courts, Mouton Road.
