A mass standoff against crime in Roodekrans to ensure a safer community

Seventy-nine representatives from the neighbouring areas showed their strength and solidarity against crime.

On 21 February, various community policing forums, neighbourhood watches (NW) and security companies came together at Pick n Pay on CR Swart Road, Roodekrans for the monthly mass crime standoff.

Seventy-nine representatives from the neighbouring areas showed their strength and solidarity against crime. After discussing the protocol for the night, everyone started their routine patrol through the back roads of town.

Representatives from the Roodekrans Neighbourhood Watch, Krugersdorp Community Policing Forum (CPF), Honeydew Neighbourhood Watch, P91 Security, DMS security, Helderkloof Neighbourhood Watch, AfriForum Neighbourhood Watch, Apcan Security Group and more, took part in the standoff to ensure a safe community for all residents.
