Residents have been scrambling for positive feedback regarding the outage in Florida Lake and surrounding areas. The electricity has been off since roughly 9.30pm on Tuesday evening and has caused mass inconvenience.
City Power and Ward councillor Caleb Finn confirmed that all problems have been identified and a crew is currently busy at one site on Albertina Sisulu Road. Once that work is completed they will attend to the problem on Main Reef Road.
No exact time is given for restoration but should repairs run smoothly, the electricity should return to households later this evening. Should any alternate or contrary information be confirmed, it shall be relayed to the community.
