Possible vehicle theft syndicate suspects arrested

On 4 February Conserv Security members responded to a distress call for assistance to apprehend five suspects who were found in the veld with a suspected stolen canopy.

Working together with the immediate community, the five suspects were arrested after establishing that the canopy had been stolen and dumped in the veld.

He positively identified the canopy as his, which had been stolen together with his bakkie two days before in the Honeydew area.

Subsequent follow-ups led to other victims of vehicle theft that had been committed of late in the Muldersdrift area.

The suspects were handed over to the police for further investigation, and Conserv Security applauded their staff and the local community for their response and support.
