As a Roodepoort resident, there are a few issues that concern me. Firstly, the parking area of the taxi business on the corner of Wilson Street and Albertina Sisulu Roads is a disaster and causes a lot of congestion. You visit some towns and they are so neat and tidy. It just seems that Roodepoort likes Chaos.
Secondly, who is really responsible for cutting the grass on the pavements in front of residential homes, especially if the people are pensioners and cannot do it themselves? The grass in front of some homes gets so long that one can only wonder what would be hiding in it. Garden Services cost a fortune, and people who would love a job need the equipment.
Lastly, we can never trust a Pikitup Schedule. If they are due to come on Friday, they either come on Saturday, Sunday or even Monday.
