The Allen Glen High School matric class of 2019 enjoyed the spotlight when the wait for their matric results was finally over on Wednesday 8 January.
The excited Class of 2019 collected their results at the school, accompanied by parents and loved ones who were equally over the moon by their hard-earned achievements.

The school achieved an impressive pass rate of 97,1 per cent, which is a huge improvement from last year’s 92,2 per cent.
Principal Jane Kruger said, “The learners worked very hard and we are extremely proud of them. The school wishes the Class of 2019 all the best with their future plans as they enter into the real world with great values instilled into them.”
The Independent Examination Board (IEB) and Department of Basic Education (DBE) matric results for the class of 2019 have been released.

The IEB matric class of 2019 achieved a 98,82 per cent pass rate, slightly down from 98,92 per cent for the class of 2018.
The DBE matric class of 2019 achieved a pass rate of 81,3 per cent, up from 78,2 per cent in 2018.
