Speaking of treading a new path, matric learners who sat for their national examinations in 2019 will begin to wait in anticipation as the day the results are released draws closer.
The matric results are usually released very early in January by the Department of Education and the Independent Examination Board (IEB).
To receive your matric results make sure you use one of the following options:
· Visit the Department of Basic Education’s website for results.
· Buy your mainstream newspaper, e.g. The Citizen, among many.
· Go to your high school on the date of release.
· Send your ID number and exam number via SMS to the number provided by the Department of Basic Education.
