The holidays are over and now it’s back to reality
The new year is here, which means that it is time to go back to our normal lives of school and work. The holidays were fun but now it is time to go back to reality.

In May 1989, British R&B bank Soul II Soul released one of their most famous songs which featured the Reggae Philharmonic Orchestra. The song was entitled Back to Life (However Do You Want Me) and was a huge success.
While it is a love song, it can easily be related to a new year. The hit song talks about leaving the fantasy that love provided behind; and by the same token, we are leaving 2019 and the holiday season behind and going back to our regular lives.
The song also talks about taking initiative and making positive changes, all things that the new year provides. So we should look on the bright side – the holidays may be over, but 2020 provides us with new opportunities for success, happiness, and reaching our goals.
