Ward councillors wishing you a merry Christmas
Councillors Leah Knott and Amelia Bester share their messages of hope
Dear Ward 97
I would like to wish all the residents of Ward 97 a wonderful, safe and prosperous festive season. May you and your family be blessed. If you’re going away, stay safe and enjoy the break. To those working through the season, we truly appreciate your sacrifice, and remember to take a little time for yourself.
It has been a rather difficult year, but challenges only make us stronger. Let’s welcome 2020 with enthusiasm and a renewed sense of purpose to tackle all the issues we are faced with. We’re in this together and I’ll always have your backs!
From Councillor Leah Knott
To the residents of Ward 89
With the high unemployment level, ever-increasing taxes and rolling blackouts, it’s been a tough year on all of us. There seems to be very little Christmas spirit this year with most people just trying to survive. I want to ask the readers to not lose hope, to find something to be grateful for and to value their loved ones.
As a Democratic Alliance councillor, I will continue to fight for your rights and freedom in the Council Chamber in 2020. Someone’s got your back!
Councillor Amelia Bester
