Many can associate themselves with my headline, whether in a good or bad manner – depending on how 2019 treated you.
As we wrap up the year, where do you really stand? Are you the type who complains that the year has gone too soon, or are you one of the other half who cannot wait to get this year over and done with?
While you think deeply about your answer, mine is simple – since September I have already been dreaming to be in 2020.
I just have a feeling that 2020 will be the year in which most South Africans will realise their full potential. 2019 had its beautiful and its ugly moments – two memories that will forever stand out for me are triumphing in the Rugby World Cup and bringing the Miss Universe crown to South Africa, all thanks to model Zozibini Tunzi.
I just wish we could have more beautiful moments that will unite us all in the new year. With this being said, I wish all the readers of the Northsider a wonderful, merry Christmas and blessed New Year.
