Eskom has notified residents that Stage 2 load-shedding will be implemented today, 5 December from 4pm to 11pm.
The entity said the step is necessary due to a shortage of capacity.
According to the City Power website four blocks will be affected today.
• From 4pm to 8.30pm: Blocks 5B and 1A
• From 8pm to 11pm: Blocks 6B and 2A
