KJK judokas honoured at annual awards event

All KJK judokas received a GI badge, as well as special awards.

On 16 November KJK Judo Club celebrated a year’s success at their annual awards function, and ended the year in good judoka spirit.

Judokas from eight different schools were awarded with the following:

– Riverbank Primary School

• Seth Grobler as Most Promising Judoka

• Karabo Mofokeng as Sportsman of the Year

– Horizon View Primary School

• Carin Anthoney as Most Promising Judoka

– Ridgevale Primary School

• Kristopher Hull as Most Promising Judoka

• Oabile Molefe as Sportsman of the Year

– La Salle College

• Aiden Stacey-Hale as Sportsman of the Year

•Ruan Goosen as Sportsman of the Year

– Laerskool Kenmare

• Zean Strydom and Hanco Breet as Most Perseverance

• Juvan Abrie and Hendrik Alberts as Most Improved

• Armand Coetzee as Most Promising Judoka

• Rynard Hall as Sportsman of the Year

• Pheladi Mathipa as Most Promising Judoka

• Iso Dladla as Sportsman of the Year

– Open schools

• Dominique Meistre as Most Promising Judoka

Eight judokas, Harm Venter, Dewald Schultz, Keagan Diab, Shawwal Bagaria, Willem Truter, Louis Truter, Louw Schultz and Gerhard Schultz, received individual trophies for National trail winners and participants.
