A successful art exhibition

A 3D collage which is about the subconscious mind was the first art piece to sell on the day.

The first day of December saw the art exhibition dedicated to Will Ferreira take place at Ramkiki Country Estate, where a number of artists and art lovers gathered at the Chapel from 9am.

Award-winning artist, Rachel Richter van der Westhuizen, who is originally from Potchefstroom, was among the talented artists present at the exhibition. She currently lives with her daughter in Roodepoort .

Her 3D collage, which is about the subconscious mind, was the first art piece to sell on the day.

The paintings that filled the room had their own unique interpretation that captured the hearts of art fanatics.

Exhibition organiser, Susan Traut Allin said, “The event was a great success. A large number of artists showed up to showcase their art works in support of the good cause.”
