A close-knit shopping experience

Gone are the days when shoppers had to walk several metres to get to the next store in a shopping centre. The opening of China World in Hillfox Value Centre on Saturday, 30 November managed to bridge this gap to convenience all patrons.

With 38 stores providing a variety of shopping experiences, Dawood Moosa, the manager of this China Mall, as it is commonly known among the public, told the Northsider that the aim was to create a one-stop shopping destination for all.

“Shopping here brings you diverse traders from different backgrounds and nationalities. They offer products such as household items, toys, electronics and other goods – making it a one-stop shop,” Moosa explained.

While feet fall was very high during the opening, judging by the packed parking lot on the day, Moosa said the luxury of this centre was that it traded seven days a week. “We are open from Monday to Sunday from 9am to 5pm,” he said.

With Christmas around the corner, Moosa encouraged locals to bring their friends and family to experience their best bargains from the variety of traders.
