Just a short note to say that I truly enjoyed your Editor’s Note in the Record of 25 October entitled, If we could have super powers … what would it be.
I found myself spurred on to think and soon came to the same conclusions as you did, and laughed as it seemed I was reading my own thoughts on paper.
By the end of your note, I was so ‘moved with awe’ and in full agreement. Your article talks about the Batho Pele principles – People First – and impressed such need for ‘Ubuntu’ among each citizen.
It is a South African need – love, kindness, acceptance and tolerance.
