Project success celebrated

To celebrate the target, the leadership of the school spray-painted their hair for a day.

Trinityhouse Little Falls Preparatory School has hailed its learner, Jolaine Maritz, the brainchild behind a successful reading programme called Read and Reap project.

The purpose of the project was to promote reading by inviting other learners to participate in this campaign, the target being to read for one million minutes.

Due to the amazing response, the school was excited to announce that the project exceeded its target and reached a whopping 1 038 568 minutes. The results were read out by Jolaine, who coordinated this initiative at school.

To celebrate the target, the leadership of the school spray-painted their hair for a day.

“A big thank you to Jolaine for leading the Read and Reap project and for encouraging the learners to read more. She did an amazing job,” said Mrs Cammell, principal of the school.
