New principal for new school

Davinah told the Northsider that she has been an educator for 23 years and ran her own school for nine years.

The King’s Group has expanded its footprint on the West Rand by establishing a school in Muldersdrift. Its founding principal, Davinah Buske, couldn’t hold back when discussing its unique offerings.

Davinah, who boasts with lots of experience in the private education sector, was appointed as the principal of this new school to steer it forward.

Davinah told the Northsider that she has been an educator for 23 years and ran her own school for nine years.

She went on to explain what this establishment will be offering next year. “This is a brand-new school in the King’s Education Group (KEG). It has been built from scratch on the property of Velocity Church in Muldersdrift and will operate as a Christian school. We are starting off with four classrooms and an ablution block. To a certain extent it resembles a farm school, with chickens running around. It’s a low-fee paying school and we are appealing to a different demographic composition,” she explained, adding that the quality of education will be the same as its sister schools, and will aspire to the same philosophy of Excellence in Education to the Glory of God.

Davinah emphasised the uniqueness of the school. “What underpins the school is that it’s an authentic Christian school with a Biblical world view, which is very important. We believe in discipleship and we will be doing regular visits to the homes of the children to strengthen relationships, serve families and show care,” she explained.

The school’s unique motto, ‘I am, I can, I ought, I will’ is what Davinah believes drives the school to achieve its Christian values and goals.
