Runners reaching new milestones at the parkrun

Along with the milestones, 52 runners celebrated a new personal best time.

The Roodepoort parkrun on 23 November has once again seen runners reaching new milestones.

The first runner to finish the race, James Bantom, completed the course in a time of 17 minutes and 52 seconds, while the first female runner, Shovani Steinman finished in a time of 25 minutes.

Tracy-Lee Malan and Leigh-Anne Meyers both completed their 50th parkrun, with Tinashe Mtetwa, Franco Schwim, Francois Schwim and Johannes Grib each completing their 100th parkrun.

Along with the milestones, 52 runners managed to shave some time off their personal bests.
