Even gyms can be romantic when you have the help of a puppy
Saturday, 19 October was a huge day for locals at the 3DimensionFitness gym at Hoërskool Florida.
Not only did Johan van Tonder bag his second Guinness World Record, but two of his supporters took the next step in their relationship.

After dating for four years, Morné Smit decided that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with his beautiful girlfriend, Cindy Mouton. He had everything planned, the choice between a holiday in Ireland or a puppy; knowing how much his girlfriend loved dogs.
Cindy seems to be happy with the small things in life, and when she was offered the choice between the holiday or a dog, she almost immediately replied that she wanted a puppy.
Morné was happy with this choice, because, if she had chosen the holiday, it would have been easier for her to figure out his plan.
He decided the perfect place to pop the question would be at the gym.
He went and got her an adorable French Bulldog named Grace, and his plan was put in motion. While the happy couple was at the gym supporting Johan, Morne painted a small heart on the side of the adorable puppy and gently tied the ring around her neck with a ribbon.
As if Grace already knew who her new mother would be, she ran to Cindy with the ring on her neck, before getting distracted and stopping to greet another dog. She eventually made it to Cindy to say hello, and when the stunning blonde looked up from her new puppy, Morné was on one knee.
The happiness on her face was incomparable as tears of joy welled up in her eyes and she accepted his proposal and the ring that he had designed for her.
Later in the day, Grace was exhausted from a job well done and took to sleeping on the steps of the gym with her legs stretched out in front and behind her.
