A concerned resident has provided the Record with CCTV footage of what appears to be a Pikitup employee removing a black municipal rubbish bin from a street in Discovery.
The incident happened on 8 November, just after midday. The victim, who would prefer not to be named, said this is the second time in a matter of months that they have had to replace their bin.

The video shows the man casually approach the bin, check its contents, then throw it in the back of the Pikitup vehicle before driving away.
Pikitup has been approached for comment, and as soon as it has been received, a follow-up article will be published.
