The event featured special guest speaker, Sasha Schwendenwein, a senior producer and investigative journalist, who spoke about her career and some intriguing investigative stories that she’s documented on the popular investigative programme, Carte Blanche.

Sasha described herself as a seasoned journalist who has been pursuing human rights stories, mainly focusing on children and systems surrounding their safe care and education. She also used the platform to address the main objective of the media, in a bid to dispel the negative notion surrounding it.
