Creating a community of readers

The participating schools were The King’s School West Rand and Curro Wilgeheuwel.

Trinityhouse Little Falls Preparatory School recently arranged a reading competition with other schools in the area.

The participating schools were The King’s School West Rand and Curro Wilgeheuwel.

This well-received competition was arranged by Trinityhouse’s very own learner and ambassador for the Read & Reap book club, Jolaine Maritz, who did a fantastic job of promoting the competition online.

The competition was won by Grade 4s of The King’s School West Rand, followed closely by Trinityhouse Little Falls, and Curro Wilgeheuwel in third place.

Trinityhouse congratulated King’s School West Rand with doughnuts and certificates. “I believe that, when you open a book, you open your mind,” said Karen Cammell, principal of Trinityhouse Little Falls Preparatory School.
